How to Win Business Deals and a Man's Heart

Here's an unpopular opinion. The women who consistently win, in the boardroom and in relationships, aren't the most beautiful ones in the room. They're not even the most charming. They're the ones who've simply been exposed to more.

Stay with me, because by the end of this, you'll understand exactly why.

You don't need more confidence. You only need more data.

You've probably heard "data is life," and it's true, but most people never connect the dots on where that data actually leads. The final output of data isn't information. It's confidence, and almost nobody sees how the two are actually the same mechanism.

Confidence isn't magic. It's simply your brain saying, "I've seen this before. I know what happens next."

Think about your first time behind the wheel, the kind of memory you can probably still relate to. Your heart was racing. You were terrified of clipping another car or making the wrong turn. Then, after a few drives, the fear just vanished.

Why? Because once you're actually driving, you can predict what happens next.

Most experienced drivers operate almost entirely on autopilot. You don't look at the gear shift before changing gears. You don't glance down to find the turn signal before switching lanes. The same goes for checking your mirrors, easing onto the brake, or adjusting your speed on a curve. You do all of this without a second thought, without ever taking your eyes off the road.

That's all confidence really is. Predictability.

So what creates predictability?

The simple answer is data. You've done something enough times to already know the outcome.

Uncertainty fuels fear, but data removes the uncertainty. More data means less fear, every single time.

Now that you've got less fear and more predictability prowess, it brings about what I call the "Exposure Effect," meaning the more you expose yourself to something, the less intimidating it becomes.

Look at it this way.

Hang around five-star hotels and luxury apartments often enough, and it starts to feel completely normal. Go on dates or business lunches with accomplished, confident men often enough, and your own confidence grows to match theirs naturally. Pitch your business or run ads often enough, and failure, along with the occasional business loss, stops scaring you the way it used to.

Like I said earlier, repetition and exposure kill fear. Every single time.

Here's how to build unshakable confidence

For a start, do things enough times to collect real data, and when you fail, treat it as data, not defeat. Use what you've learned to make smarter predictions the next time you show up.

I keep telling people that every mistake is just more information. You can never actually go wrong with data, because data only ever teaches you something. The only time you'll go wrong with data is when you're not paying enough attention, or you outright ignore it.

It's never too late to start, because confidence isn't about feeling ready. It's about knowing what comes next, and the only real way to know that is through data.

Do it scared. Do it often. Soon enough, you won't just feel confident. You'll become predictable to success, and that's the real magic data can do for you.

This same principle is exactly what drives The Mindset Shift Before the Money Shift. Beliefs, whether about money or about yourself, aren't rewired by a single decision. They're rewired by data, repeated enough times that the old belief simply can't hold up anymore.

It'll help you win in business, and it'll walk you straight into winning a man's heart too.
